MASON's. (preservation of the building technology of pyramids in the 800-1800 religion dark ages.

Illuminati = 1700 "woke" (preservation of enlightenment when Fundamentalism was created to push back against Science and instead use literal interpretations of religious texts vs Science based appreciation of this universe) (Fundamentalism assumes all Science is Atheism in nature when in fact for most science research the complexity of the universe leads them closer to a higher power - reference to the book "mind of GOD" - Paul Davies)

Interesting take! The Illuminati's roots in the 1700s do seem like an early form of being 'woke'. It's fascinating how science and spirituality often intertwine, as Paul Davies explored in 'Mind of GOD'.

Nice little nightly read to spark the imagination. Such a mystery indeed. Oddly enough, first time I was ever introduced to the idea of the Illuminati was through that movie Skulls with Joshua Jackson haha

Totally get what you mean! 'Skulls' was my first brush with the whole Illuminati concept too. Joshua Jackson really took me on a wild ride with that one. Mysteries like these sure make bedtime reading a lot more intriguing!

I almost typed Charlie Conway in my response but then I remembered no, he’s not actually the legendary #96 “make him make a move” duck captain.

Another good, well balanced post.

The way I see it, - humanity’s focus right now is ONLY on what's interesting, not on what's essential. That goes as well in the way we explain things to each other.

There is an infatuation with innovative forms and ideas which are self-serving for the most part. They supersede the self-restraint required for contemplation and proper introspection as an intermediary step in order to transform them into understanding, eventually of value to the reader/listener.

We are at a stage in our development in which we have an immediate access to any type of information, and by that be able to siphon tidbits of accurate information and match them to any opinion, while discarding anything that doesn't “fit”. On the same hand, we can take an accurate tidbit of information and juxtapose it to another, and in doing so take away the original context, and by that unintentionally create a different story.

As a result, it does the opposite. It turns any slight opportunity to establish a transcendental explanation into just another down-the-rabbit-hole "conspiracy mumbo jumbo".

In this way we get the irony of our current Age of Ignorance under the pretense of Enlightenment: Amid the instant access to all the cumulative aggregation of knowledge throughout the history of our species, we exist in an amplified bubble of confusion and anxiety.

Add to the mix the emotional turmoil in the form of heightened sensitivity and nervousness, what we get is the prevalent reality in which it is no longer possible to see the actual topic at hand. The common existence is about overreaction to strawman narratives based on projection, inadvertently creating a reservoir of crammed-up information that is not important to think about, now is knowable.

However, is being digested, regurgitated and focused on with a great zeal.
