In 1993, a group of students and their instructor, Lyudmila Korovina, went on a trek. They wanted to explore the Khamar Daban mountain range, near Lake Baikal in Siberia. The stunning landscapes of southern Siberia's Buryatia region were meant to be the backdrop for an exciting adventure. Instead, they became a mysterious puzzle that lasted for many years. Their unexpected and horrifying fate on that journey has been a subject of speculation, mystery, and sorrow in the years that followed.
The Dyatlov Pass incident I believe has been resolved and the theory most plausible is an avalanche forced them out of their tents and into the darkness. The documentary was showing evidence of other avalanches occuring in the immediate region where they set up camp. This incident seems obviously ingestion related. My guess is the lone survivor did not consume the water or whatever it was the others ate.
Interesting story.
I never heard about this one
